Your Role
Digit IT is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our growing team.
Based in Toowoomba, you will play a key role in delivering our key service offerings: IT Support, IT Projects, IT Security, Managed Services, Cloud Services and Business Connectivity.
This is a senior role, suited to someone who has experience providing Level 3 Support within an MSP environment – complex troubleshooting and IT Project delivery skills are a must!
Your Responsibilities
Provide onsite and remote Level 3 technical support to our clients
Monitor and maintain network, servers and services
Troubleshoot and resolve escalations from Level 1-2 Engineers
Contribute to pre-sales solution design
Deliver IT Projects including network infrastructure, telephony and IT security etc.
Log and resolve tickets in our management system
Create and maintain client documentation
Your Skills and Experience
Excellent oral, listening and written communication skills
3+ years experience in a Systems Engineer role
Logical and methodical troubleshooting approach
Strong knowledge of Windows servers
Experience with Office 365 and Azure
Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMWare)
Strong knowledge of networks (LAN, WAN, VPN and VLAN)
Backup and recovery (Datto, VEEAM, Acronis & StorageCraft)
Focus on IT Security
VOIP Telephony, 3CX systems
Mobile device management
Attention to detail and clear, accurate and concise documentation
A valid driver's license
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
