As part of ramping-up the Australian office activities, the ICT Business Developer Manager will handle the creation and management of the initial team as well as leading the business development for the APAC region.
Typical expected activities: Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources Acquiring and updating knowledge of employer's and competitors' goods and services, and market conditions Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities Assessing customers' needs and explaining the goods and services which meet their needs Promoting employers' ICT goods and services to existing and prospective clients Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, and completing contracts and recording orders Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services Reporting to sales management on sales made and the marketability of ICT goods and services Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with ICT goods and services purchased, arranging modifications and resolving any problems arising Preparing sales reports, and maintaining and submitting records of business expenses incurred Creating (Hiring) and Managing a team Analysing Software Licensing documents and Commercial T&Cs contracts Leading discussions on commercial terms gaps between jurisdictions (incl. non-APAC) Preparing and Leading C-level Steering Committee with End-Customers Prerequisites: At least 5 years working in Asia Pacific (APAC) ICT markets Strong experience in negotiating, signing and working with Partners in multiple APAC markets Strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM) Experience in creating and managing a team (min. 4 pax) Cloud and Cybersecurity field experience (2y at least for each) At least 3y of Experience in delivery of major Consulting / Professional Services projects in APAC Languages: apart from English (professional), additional one language at professional level Education: Masters Degree (Required) Experience: Sales: 5 years (Required) Software Asset Management: 1 year (Required) Partnership Management: 3 years (Preferred) Hiring: 2 years (Required) Line Management: 3 years (Required) Cloud: 2 years (Required) Cybersecurity: 2 years (Required) Consulting or Professional Services: 3 years (Required) Summary of role requirements: Flexible hours available More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role Working rights required for this role Expected start date for role: 01 March 2025 Expected salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
