About the role We have plenty of growing left to do, so we are looking for a Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to join our global team. The position would suit a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to contribute and participate in the exciting opportunities arising from a company experiencing continued growth.
What you will do Proactively coordinate domestic and international shipments to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of all VALD shipments. Oversee, coordinate, and ensure the accurate and timely completion of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing declarations, bills of lading, and certificates. Prepare and print shipping labels and liaise with carriers to schedule shipments. Liaise with international customs brokers to facilitate prompt clearance of shipments and resolution of issues. Assist with warehouse receivals, dispatch operations, returns and any other general warehouse duties as required to support business needs. Is this you? Proven experience in logistics, operations, and international shipping. Knowledge of international shipping processes and incoterms. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities. A positive, proactive "can-do" attitude and the ability to work autonomously or in a team. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously or as part of a team. A background in international trade or logistics, with relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is required, while experience with HubSpot, UPS/DHL shipment platforms, and Oracle NetSuite is highly desirable.
