Contribute to service development, education and research as a member of a multidisciplinary team to stakeholders/clients of the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian - Reliever (Paediatrics) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willManage an allocated workload and participate in clinical rotation to deliver professional level paediatric nutrition and dietetic servicesUndertake routine nutrition assessment, implementation and evaluation tasksAssist in the development and/or review of clinical practices, procedures and protocolsActively participate in multidisciplinary teams, and in service improvement activities, working cooperatively and effectively within the teamAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:Possession of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institutionEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Working with children check/Blue Card (GCH will cover cost)About UsNutrition and Food Services department provides leadership for effective and efficient Nutrition and Hydration management in conjunction with the key stakeholders.
