THE POSITION Mobilisation Period: Implementation of CBORDDevelop process and procedures for the kitchen and food servicesBuild rosters and strategy for delivery of servicesCoordination of the Food Safety Plan and licensesCoordination of the testing and commissioning activities relevant to foodOperational Phase: Actively promote hospital menus that comply with the nutrition standards, diet specifications for patients, and Contract Specifications.Manage the compliance of the diet and menu developmentLead and manage a very small team of Special Diet and Menu Monitor staffAdminister and manage all dietary attributes and ensure compliance in the online menu management systemContribute to the planning, development and evaluation of food service programs and servicesApply existing standards to develop and assess recipes and menus, including special diet recipes and menus, that are appropriate for specific population groupsTHE PERSON Accredited practising dietitian qualificationsSound knowledge and understanding of food regulations including local, state and national nutrition and therapeutic diet specifications, policies, dietary guidelines and standardsAdvocate for food service and nutrition-related issuesExperience working within a hospital setting is highly regardedAbility to work effectively within a team environmentGreat time management skills, you're able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlinesTHE BENEFITS Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for professional development and growth.12 weeks paid parental leave for primary carers.Salary packaging options.Opportunity for growth and development into operational role.Hybrid work.Apply now or contact ****** or call 1300TALENT for a confidential discussion.
