About the role Mater Private Hospital Townsville has an exciting opportunity for a Dietitian to join the Allied Health team. The successful applicant will join the team on a casual basis where you will work out of our Pimlico and Hyde Park campus.
Salary range: $41.87 - $57.80 per hour plus 25% casual loading plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900, plus access to many staff benefits!
What you'll be doing The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a clinical caseload, which will rotate through a range of clinical areas, whilst contributing to quality improvement initiatives and best practice models of dietetic care. Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of nutrition care to adults across a range of clinical areas, including both inpatients and outpatients. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to participate in professional mentoring.
About you Comprehensive knowledge of Nutrition and Dietetics service in a hospital setting and the ability to manage caseloads across a broad range of clinical areas.Commitment to continuous quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and professional development.Exceptional interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and time management skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within the Nutrition and Dietetics Department and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Minimum of one-year full-time equivalent clinical experience - recommended.Accredited Practising Dietitian status.Why join us?
