Our team is passionate about providing personalised care and support to help our clients remain independent and active in their communities.We're looking for a passionate dietitian to join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of our clients. As part of our team, you'll provide high-quality nutrition and dietetic services using an evidence-based wellness approach. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to our clients and have the flexibility to develop goal-oriented programs tailored to each client's needs. You'll also have the support of a caring and knowledgeable team dedicated to helping you succeed. We are open to candidates based in Tasmania's south, north, or northwest and have office space in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport, and Burnie.Full-time, part-time, casual, or contractor positions can be considered for the right candidate.A competitive salary packageThe opportunity to work with a leading home care providerA great work-life balance with flexible hoursThe chance to make a real difference in the lives of older TasmaniansOngoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and career progressionA supportive and collaborative team environmentYou will doDevelop and implement individual nutritional care plans based on assessing each client's needs.Support and educate clients and families on nutritional principles, food selection, and economics.Utilise evidence-based dietetic interventions to guide assessment, treatment, and referralsWork as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver careMonitor and document the effectiveness of the nutritional programParticipate in group programs and facilitate education for clients and community groupsLiaise with referral agencies and service providersEnsure timely submission of Medicare and DVA claim formsYou need to haveAccredited Practising Dietitian (APD) registration and membership in the Dietitians Association of AustraliaGood clinical and practical knowledge of dietetics and nutritionStrong communication and counselling skillsExperience providing evidence-based assessment and planning appropriate interventions for clientsAbility to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary teamA current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleIdeally, you also haveComprehensive understanding of community-based service provisionExperience using a wellness and restorative approach to service provision.Understanding of risk management, health and safety, and continuous quality improvement processes#J-18808-Ljbffr
