Senior Dietician – Permanent Part-Time Position 30 hours per fortnight (Monday & Tuesday) The Geelong Clinic has recently expanded to a 73 bed inpatient mental health facility. As part of our continued commitment, we are seeking an Accredited Dietician to join The Geelong Clinics Allied Health Team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to deliver group and individual based interventions as part of our focused Eating Disorder Program.
The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary team approach, providing group and individual based therapy for patients who experience a range of mental health issues. The role involves providing support to our core dietetics team by delivering groups to our eating disorder programs, menu planning and working in conjunction with the broader Geelong Clinic team to provide exceptional services to our customers.
Role Responsibilities: The Dietitian role is responsible for the facilitation, documentation and evaluation of nutrition based therapy groups responsive to patient needs within a private psychiatric setting.Delivery of a dynamic group program that is evidence based, interactive and engaging for patients, as part of our comprehensive Eating Disorder Program is essential to the role.Individual dietetic assessments and reviews of inpatients.Work as part of a broader multi-disciplinary team and service in a way that supports the Healthscope values.Engage in quality improvement, supervision of dieticians and service evaluation as required.Selection Criteria: Appropriate tertiary qualifications and registration in Dietetics as recognised in Victoria.Experience working with clients with mental health issues.Experience working with clients with eating disorders highly regarded.Evidence of high level organization, communication and collaboration skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Closing Date: 9th December 2024 Applications and Enquiries to: Cate Unsworth - Clinical Services Manager
