The Dietitian will be required to treat an array of patients and presentations.
Provide clinical assessment, prescription, dietary analysis, meal plans (where needed).
Particular attention should be given to developing rapport and the Therapeutic Alliance (positive patient – therapist professional relationship) with a focus on achieving shared patient goals and delivering evidence based practice and treatment protocols to achieve best outcomes.
Is this the right role for you?
Experience as a private practice Dietitian is desirable Current registration Ability to build and maintain rapport with patients and other health professionals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment Competent in computer skills and ability to learn scheduling and software programs.
Passion for ongoing learning and progression Driver's license NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
