Diesel or Light Vehicle Mechanic | Local Government OpportunityOur client based in Thornleigh has the requirement for either a Diesel Mechanic or Light Vehicle Mechanic to join their small and amazing team.
This is a temporary position, working full-time hours, Monday to Friday in an ongoing capacity with a view to permanent for the right person.
About the Role Perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on tarp systems, brake and clutch adjustments, and general fleet maintenance for trucks such as Mack and Kenworth.Accurately identify, record, and repair faults.Compile all paperwork and documents accurately.Forward paperwork and documents promptly to appropriate recipients.May be required to order and follow up on parts.Experience in the repair and maintenance of specialised pumping, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.Skills and Experience Hold a current NSW Drivers Licence & HR Truck Licence.Must be trade qualified.Must have clear and concise communication.Be available to perform overtime if required.Have sound experience in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.Have the ability to assess faults and record appropriate severity levels.#J-18808-Ljbffr
