Diesel Motor Mechanic Position – North West Gin, Moree, NSW.

We're looking for a qualified experienced diesel motor mechanic who has permanent residency.
Your tasks will include: · Maintaining, testing and repairing diesel motors and the mechanical parts of trucks and other heavy vehicles including but not limited to transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.
· Maintaining workplace, health and safety standards and always adhering to company policies and procedures.
· Applying suitable diagnostic services to troubleshoot and repair.

Undertaking required major overhauls, upgrades and breakdown repairs.
· Scheduling maintenance in conjunction with the production team to minimise downtime in the factory.
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic with a strong work ethic who takes pride in their work and can work alongside an established team.
To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes: • Relevant qualifications (at least Cert IV) or minimum of 4 years' experience as a Diesel Motor Mechanic.
• Experience working on heavy commercial diesel engines.
• Experience with tractors, diesel generators, diesel vehicles & diesel mobile plant.
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to follow all WH&S guidelines & policies.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
• In-depth diagnostic ability, and experience with using electronic diagnosis tools.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and alongside others as required.
• Good housekeeping in the workplace is important to you.
• Hold a current drivers' license.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $80-90,000 per annum dependent on experience.
Expected hours: 38 per week + paid overtime.
