ACM EWP GROUP is seeking experienced and highly motivated Diesel Mechanics to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of truck-mounted elevated work platforms (EWPs). This role requires a strong background in diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy-duty vehicles. You will work closely with our engineering and technical teams to ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of safety and efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems for truck-mounted EWPs.Conduct routine service checks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups to ensure vehicles are operating at peak performance.Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues related to the platform's operation and recommend appropriate solutions.Carry out scheduled maintenance, including inspections of engine components, suspension, and hydraulic systems.Replace or repair worn or defective parts such as bearings, brakes, gearboxes, and electrical components.Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work complies with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support repair work on structural components.Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work, including parts used, labor time, and services performed.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex issues and develop long-term solutions.QualificationsProven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in heavy-duty vehicles or truck-mounted EWPs.Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Physical stamina and ability to work in various positions, lifting heavy equipment and performing tasks in confined spaces.Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in diesel mechanics are required.A valid driver's license is required, and a commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.If you're a skilled diesel mechanic looking for a rewarding career in a growing industry, we invite you to apply and join our dynamic team at ACM EWP GROUP!
