AA Concrete Co are an established Residential and Commercial Concrete business located in Craigieburn.
We have been in operation for over 25 years and have a team of over 40 committed team members providing our clients with the construction of residential waffle and raft slabs.
The business is built on the foundation of quality excellence and exceptional customer service.
An exciting opportunity has presented for a motivated and driven individual to join our factory division as a Diesel Mechanic.
You will be working and reporting to the Senior Diesel Mechanic as his second in Charge.
This is a Full-Time position with hours from 6.30am to 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities and experience:Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines across our fleet.Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine tune-ups.Inspect vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot engine and system faults and fix.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and deliver high-quality service.Maintain detailed records of all repairs and services performed.Source and replace parts as necessary, ensuring all work meets our high standards.Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Participate in breakdown services if required.Detect faults and fix faults (either old parts or replace with new parts).Repair heavy vehicle diesel engine, transmission, and other parts, perform dismantles and reassembles tasks.Repair heavy vehicle gearbox.Experience of working with and on Tippers, Excavators, Loaders, Tractors, Forklifts, and other heavy vehicles.Servicing and maintenance of all company vehicles and Utes.Liaising with suppliers.Some onsite work when needed.Able to work as part of a team and individually.Great work ethic.Maintaining a safe, organised workshop and work area.Great communication skills as you will be communicating with site crews, supervisors, office staff, and Directors.Minimum two years of work experience in the role.Qualification in motor mechanic (preferred).Why Choose UsStability & job security.The chance to join a growing company with an exciting future who are already working on some of Melbourne's most exciting residential and commercial projects.Support, training & guidance from experienced leaders.A positive & rewarding team culture where great work is recognised & rewarded.The opportunity to impact our business's performance & grow into a long-term career. #J-18808-Ljbffr
