Your Role
Reporting to the Workshop Managers, you will be part of a medium-sized team of Diesel Mechanics working together to repair, maintain, and service various heavy vehicles. Tasks include: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic & fabrication duties. Other duties are to:
Receive job flow schedules and liaise with the team to complete jobs on time and accuratelyProblem solve, diagnose, enhance, and maintain equipmentWork on new equipment and servicing contract maintenance jobsReport any challenges or delays to Workshop Managers as requiredPrepare detailed parts orders as requiredMaintain all aspects of heavy vehicles; diagnosing, overhauling, repairing, tuning, and testing vehiclesSchedule preventative maintenance services and breakdown fault diagnosisOperate hand and power toolsAttend training as requiredEnsure WHSE documentation is maintained and adhered toKeep up to date with relevant legislationAbout You
The successful person will have a sound employment background as a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic in Heavy Bus, Truck & Trailer Mechanic (or equivalent), whilst being punctual, reliable, and a go-getter.

Highly desirable experience includes: Wheel alignment, Hydraulic fit-up, Crane operating skills, Forklift licence, HR/HC/MC licence, and Qualified EWP Operator.
