Proserpine Machinery Service is an agricultural farm machinery dealership servicing AGCO franchises including Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Challenger, Valtra and Iseki tractors and hay equipment, Husqvarna mowers and vehicles.
WHAT WILL YOU DO Being located in the Whitsundays will allow you to have a central base to service our diverse range of customers while enjoying a wide range of activities in your spare time. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs to a variety of agricultural equipment including tractors, harvesting equipment, spray equipment, vehicles, mowers and other general equipment.
WE WANT YOU Successful candidates will have the following attributes to align with our business expectations:
Fully trade qualified mechanicExperience working in an agricultural environmentExperience in agricultural electronics and hydraulicsCurrent driver's licenceSelf-motivated, punctual, reliable and hard workingProblem solving and decision making skillsPrepared to travel away for factory training coursesAbility to communicate with co-workers and clientsThis is a full time position with occasional overtime. Work will be performed both in the workshop and in the field environment. Due to the diversity of the role, it will be both challenging and rewarding to the successful candidate.
