We are seeking a trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic based in our Laverton or Sunshine Plant Yard, where you would be working directly with the Plant team to service a specialised plant. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Liaising with supervisor to ensure cost-effective and efficient service/repairs to plant, vehicles and equipment. Carrying out inspections, repairs and servicing on plant, vehicles and plant at Plant Yard or other destinations as advised. Safely operating plant and equipment for testing purposes. Safely storing plant, equipment, and materials. Communicating/reporting Plant status and or issues to the Plant Supervisor. Assisting with technical support to Operating staff. Following internal processes and procedures. About You
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Diesel Mechanic or Auto Electrician Trade Qualification. Valid driver's license. The ability to work in a team and or individually. Be highly motivated, honest and have a commitment to safety. Be able to travel to all projects around Australia and possibly O/S. About Us
