Agwest Machinery are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Northam WA 6401. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment. Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles and heavy plant machinery/equipment. Perform routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and heavy plant machinery/equipment. Undertake inspections, assessments, and maintenance on vehicles and heavy plant machinery/equipment. Skills & Abilities: Ideally have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic. A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology / Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant. Ability to work in a team environment. Salary range is $70,000-$85,000 pa commensurate with experience. Full-time position available. Applications open 8th of November 2024 and close on 8th December 2024.
