About the role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated and busy Devonport workshop. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be assisting with the repairs and maintenance of SeaRoad's Group of companies' facilities and equipment.
Key responsibilities of this role include: Trouble shooting and repairs of all types of equipment and componentsEnsure appropriate Standard Operating Procedures are applied at all timesEnsure all completed jobs are accompanied by complete and proper service reportsEnsure duties are carried out efficiently and accuratelyPerforming correct safety procedures at all timesEnsure that the surrounding work area is clean and safe at all timesAbout you To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience: Recognised and accredited Australian trade qualificationPossess a high level of diagnostic ability/experienceCarry out repairs and maintenance to a high standardHave knowledge of Safe work practices, be compliant with WorkSafe and Company PoliciesAble to work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent verbal and communication skillsAbility and willingness to work in a team environmentPossess a positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adaptPossess a positive work ethicTechnologically literateAbility to work as part of a team and also autonomouslyReliable and flexibleRight to work in AustraliaApplications: Must include a cover letter and resumeSeaRoad reserves the right to commence recruitment proceedings prior to the closing date.SeaRoad is committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
