Join Saputo Dairy Australia as a Senior Diesel Mechanic at our Allansford site, located just 15 minutes from Warrnambool, Victoria.
This full-time, permanent position offers you the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of milk tanker trucks.
How You Will Make a Difference Maintain and repair a fleet of up to 45 heavy and multi-vehicle combination milk tanker trucks.
Collaborate with tanker drivers and fleet coordinators.
Participate in a rotating on-call roster, traveling mainly across Southwest Victoria.
Assist with vehicle breakdowns, diagnose and repair issues, and manage milk flow meters.
Ensure the safe transfer of milk back to the depot.
About You A minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Trade.
Experience in a similar role within the transport industry, particularly with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Willingness to participate in a 5 - week rotating roster.
A current HC/MC driver's license (desirable but not essential).
Experience with both automatic and manual trucks, especially Volvos, is highly regarded.
The ability to work independently, handle pressure, and maintain high standards for the fleet.
