Diesel Mechanic/ Fitter

We are currently seeking a diesel mechanic to join our team in Ararat, Horsham & Ballarat. The successful applicant will be required to work a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring maintenance of a safe and reliable fleet.Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components of our vehicles and plant equipment.Test driving of vehicles.Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork and reports.Identifying and requesting necessary parts for maintenance and repairs.Conducting preventative maintenance services to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.Maintaining accurate service records and reports.Experience servicing and working on mobile plants, equipment, and light engines.Holding relevant tickets and licenses.Exhibiting good time management skills with the ability to work independently.Possessing a current White card.Being customer & safety focused.Demonstrating high-level communication skills.Proven ability to work in a team environment.Ability to obtain driver's accreditation & Working with Children's Checks.Currently holding a minimum of a Medium Rigid License.MUST be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test.Job benefits and perks:In return for your efforts, you will be rewarded with an hourly rate of $32.00-$38.00 per hour for experienced diesel mechanics working full-time hours, Mondays to Fridays 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, plus some overtime & superannuation of 11.5% on TFN.
