Job Description Position Description Aerotech is seeking a Mechanic to support the growing fleet of speciality vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) required to run our maintenance facility in Alice Springs.

The types of equipment that will be the responsibility of the GSE Mechanic are:

Forklifts (LPG)
All-Terrain Vehicles (4-Stroke Unleaded)
Scissor Lifts (Diesel and Electric Powered)
Aircraft jacks (axle and tripod), serviceable up to 150 ton
The Mechanic will also manage the ongoing maintenance associated with the commercial vehicle fleet (comprising of Toyota Hilux/Hiace).

Requirements Candidate Requirements Candidates will have at least 5 years of experience as a qualified mechanic and the following personal and professional traits:

Exceptional work ethic
Practical outlook without compromising attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
Be fluent in English (written and spoken)
