Residential Role with full relocation provided – live in Weipa, a beautiful coastal community in Far North Queensland and upgrade your lifestyle with incredible outdoor adventures and water-based activitiesNew lifestyle roster provides the perfect balance, giving you more time for the things that are important in your life and to your family and communityAbout the role We are looking for experienced Heavy Mobile Equipment Diesel Fitters to join our friendly and high performing Heavy Equipment Maintenance team based at either Andoom or our newest operation Amrun. You'll maintain the site's heavy mobile equipment and ancillary fleet to ensure this critical equipment is available to meet operational requirements.
You'll live in the idyllic coastal town of Weipa, with full relocation provided, working across our Northern and Southern Operations. We have options to suit your lifestyle and goals; at East Weipa or Andoom (Northern Operations) you'll be home after each shift as you'll be working a 4,5,5 day/night lifestyle roster and for roles based at Amrun (Southern Operations) you'll be working our new lifestyle roster; 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off and you will stay at our newly built camp during shifts and commute back to Weipa on days off, with an additional allowance to compensate time away from home.

Located on the Western Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, each year the operation produces more than 35 million tons of bauxite.
Our operations are supported by a 1,900-strong workforce—including 26 per cent who are women and 25 per cent Indigenous employees. Activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, ports, cultural heritage management, and processing facility management.
The development of our new mine, Amrun, which was completed in 2018, will extend the life of our Weipa bauxite operations by decades to come and significantly build on our 55-year history on the Western Cape.
