About the roleThiess are seeking Diesel Fitters for their NSW Sites, Muswellbrook Coal Mine Rehabilitation Project, Mt Arthur South and Mt Thorley Workshop. Various rosters are on offer based on site location. In these roles, you will: Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large scale mobile mining equipment including CAT Trucks and Dozers, Graders and other ancillary equipment as directed in accordance with Thiess servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentationCompleting General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Services and Component changeouts to a high standardSource technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer based systemsEnsure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all timesConduct required inspection to maximise equipment utilisation About youTo be successful in this role you are required to have: Proven experience as a Diesel FitterPost-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industryBe able to obtain relevant Certificate of Proficiency issued by Training NSWExperience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts and servicing of Heavy Earthmoving equipmentDemonstrated experience with Liebherr and CAT large earthmoving equipment is preferred.
