Come and play a key role in shaping our future!The RoleWe are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Diesel Fitters and Diesel Mechanics to complete planned and unplanned maintenance of Blair Athol's mining equipment as directed to the required standards. This role may undertake either workshop or field-based maintenance.Responsibilities of the Role:Compliance with site Safety and Health Management system requirements (including risk management, SOPs, permits, work instructions, etc.)Prioritise and undertake specified and/or general work to the required standard and within timeframesMaintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environmentParticipate in and complete shift change, site meetings, communications, or reporting requirements to the required standardActively engage in continuous improvement programs and maintenance workflow managementSkills and Experience:Diesel (Mechanical) trade qualification valid for AustraliaA demonstrated commitment to safety as a way of lifeExperience in maintaining and servicing excavators, mobile earthmoving equipment and / or fixed plantKnowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing JSA's, risk assessments and permitsA commitment to be an effective team player, including a positive attitudeStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailA fantastic opportunity to expand your mining career and join a great team offering exposure to all areas of operations and become part of the community in which you work.An attractive remuneration package in line with experience including accommodation while at site.An inclusive and supportive team culture.Equal time lifestyle friendly roster in Central Queensland (permanent full-time 7 on 7 off roster) & potential career progression.Note we thank all applicants for their interest, however any communications will be with short listed candidates only.
