About the Role: Join our dynamic Mobile Maintenance team at Newman Operations, situated in the Pilbara Region on the traditional lands of the Nyiyaparli people.
As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our operations, working with both breakdown and planned maintenance teams. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading mining company while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on heavy diesel equipment.Diagnose, repair, and refurbish engines and components, primarily on CAT 793F Trucks and CAT 785 Watercarts.Collaborate with a skilled team to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.About You: Ability to commit to 8 days on, 6 days off, followed by 7 nights on, 7 nights off, with FIFO arrangements from Perth.Previous experience in mining or a transferrable industry with larger sized earthmoving equipment preferred.Knowledge of CAT engines is desirable.Experience in maintaining and diagnosing mobile equipment is highly regarded.Team-focused, with a strong commitment to safety in the workplace.Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.What is on offer?
