Glendun Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Fitter/ Diesel Motor Mechanic.
Suitable candidates are expected to be able to perform the following duties:
Repair and maintain all Glendun Group plant and machinery. Maintain service records, machine hours, etc. Operate machinery where required. Coordinate parts and mechanic requirements as required. Train Plant Operators in maintenance procedures. Diagnose problems from electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Access on-board self-diagnostic systems in the engine control unit (ECU) and central processing unit (CPU) and interpret test procedures and results. Ensure work is performed to comply with Glendun Group Standards. Correctly use and maintain all personal protective clothing and equipment supplied by Glendun Group. Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on Glendun plant, equipment, machinery, and vehicles as directed. Perform routine duties in accordance with established and documented processes as required. Diagnose faults in machinery/vehicles systems and rectify. Plan work so that it is done efficiently and in accordance with industry standards. Undertake other duties which are relevant to the position as requested. Be willing to be available to attend out of hours breakdowns and vehicle retrievals, if required. Skills and Experience Requirements: Trade qualification/apprenticeship and/or at least 3 years full-time work experience for the position. Ability to maintain strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and to multi-task. Interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.
