About Our Client
A reputable company providing high-quality mechanical services to the mining and construction industries is seeking a Workshop/Field Service Diesel Fitter for their site in Hughenden.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar machinery, Kenworth prime movers, and ancillary equipment. This includes diagnosing faults, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and performing scheduled servicing and component change-outs. You will be expected to complete inspections, both in the workshop and in the field, and ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with safety regulations. Additionally, you will maintain accurate service and repair records, provide technical support to team members, and assist with workshop and parts store management as required.
This role is a 2:1 roster and 12 hour shifts.
What You Will Need
Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter.
Post-trade experience in a similar role.
Experience with Caterpillar Machinery, Kenworth prime movers, and Ancillary equipment.
Ability to work unsupervised with a strong work ethic.
Valid driver's licence and White Card.
Must have both workshop and field service experience.
