Fitters, Turners & Machinists (Trades & Services)
MAMS Group is a family-operated waste management business, with our head office located in Ingham. We also have locations in Townsville, Tully, Innisfail, and Cairns.
We are seeking a qualified Diesel Fitter to join our team on a full-time basis, to support our existing Diesel Fitter with in-house repairs and maintenance. In this position, you will:
Be based at our Ingham Depot with access to a full maintenance shed and support team;Enjoy a highly competitive remuneration package;Work on a wide range of trucks and machinery including waste collection vehicles (side lift, front lift, and hook lift trucks);Be willing to travel to our other locations between Townsville and Cairns, depending on your base;Work for a medium-sized, highly regarded family business;Enjoy an extra day off for your birthday each year.The MAMS Group has been operating for 45 years. Applicants can be based in either Ingham or Innisfail or anywhere in between if you are willing to travel. To be successful, you must have experience working with heavy vehicles, be honest and reliable, and possess a high level of communication skills. Experience maintaining and repairing waste collection trucks will be highly regarded. You will be working within a small team, so a positive team-focused attitude is a must.
Successful applicants will need a MR Licence and will also be required to undertake a full medical examination and police check.
