Job Title: Diesel Fitter – Earthmoving Equipment Specialist Location: Alberton Pay: $60 - $70 per hour + penalties Hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (plus plenty of overtime!)Position Type: Permanent Ever dream of getting paid top dollar to work on some beastly earthmoving equipment? Well, dream no more! We're on the hunt for a Diesel Fitter to join our team in Alberton.
You'll be maintaining, fixing, and getting dirty with the heavy hitters of the earthmoving world.
Job benefits: $60 - $70/hour + penalties Early starts, early finishes (6 am – 2:30 pm), with plenty of overtime for the go-getters.
Straight permanent position Chilled atmosphere – as long as you get the job done on time, you'll find it's smooth sailing here.
What You'll Be Doing: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on a range of earthmoving equipment – from excavators to drill rigs, you'll be the go-to problem solver.
Performing routine and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly and prevent costly breakdowns.
Inspecting and testing machinery to identify potential problems and ensure everything is safe, efficient, and ready for action.
Carrying out scheduled servicing and repairs, keeping machinery in top condition for peak performance.
Collaborating with the team to prioritise tasks and ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed on time.
Keeping detailed records of work done, parts used, and any recommendations for future repairs or servicing.
Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.
What We're Looking For: A qualified Diesel Fitter who's ready to work hard Someone with a love for earthmoving equipment – if you've got experience with the big boys, we want you! A team player who can work solo but enjoys a good laugh and banter on the job.
