About the Role SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Leading Hand Diesel Fitter to?join our team on a significant civil/mining project based in Orange, NSW. This is a full-time FIFO position on an 8/6 roster travelling from Brisbane to Orange. Responsibilities will include Lead a team of experienced Diesel Fitters. Repair, servicing and maintenance of earthmoving plant, equipment, and light vehicles. Implement and adhere to asset maintenance scheduling. Carry out lockout and tag-out systems in accordance with legislative requirements and company policy. Provide technical expertise to project teams and provide basic service training to plant operators where required. Essential Skills and Attributes Trade Qualification – Heavy Plant Proven experience in servicing and repairing Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Electrical processes. Clear understanding of excellence in customer service. Proven management skills, practices and planning ability. Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities. Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications. Highly effective planning, organising and problem solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
