About the role The purpose of this role is to perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and effectively within the site Mobile Maintenance department. Key responsibilities will include: Routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing along with field work Working on a range of mining equipment including Normet, Volvo, Sandvik loaders and Sandvik Development and Production drills Reading and interpreting hydraulic and auto electrical schematics and understand associated software programs Gaining technical knowledge to apply potential asset/maintenance improvements Following correct procedures for costing of all items and contributing to maintaining within existing budget Identifying risks/hazards and applying effective controls via use of PTRA's, JSEA's or formal Risk Assessments Maintaining health, safety, statutory, regulatory, and licensing standards, and principles, both within own workplace and through the identification of potential risks throughout Evolution 8/6 (days) - 7/7 (nights) roster, FIFO from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville, DIDO from Mt Isa with a travel allowance or residential in Cloncurry with a local living allowance Eligible for a quarterly safe production bonus Company share ownership plan, complimentary life insurance and income protection and future opportunities to work interstate or overseas About you The successful applicant will have the ability to make decisions, meet deadlines, have strong communication skills and always strive to be part of a high performing team.
