Our Role
We are looking for a Diesel Fitter to join our hardworking team at our Calliope site close to Rockhampton. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, you will be trade qualified and have good mechanical aptitude, with a willingness for ongoing training. You will be part of a small team of maintenance tradespeople with good levels of autonomy and varied work including repair and breakdown, preventative maintenance, fabrication and some mobile plant assistance.
Ordinarily this will be a day shift Monday to Friday role; however, you will be required to work on some Saturdays and be available to attend unplanned breakdowns, whereby overtime will be accrued.
The successful applicant will have:

A relevant trade qualification
A current manual driver's license
Experience with crushing and screening, milling equipment as well as sound welding and fabrication skills (highly regarded but not essential)
A positive attitude towards and commitment to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements and legislation
Previous success in working as part of a team

Future training in various aspects of either Operations or Quality is available for the right candidate.
You must have the right to live and work in Australia to be considered for this role.
