The Opportunity
Bhagwan Marine is seeking a Marine Diesel Fitter based in Darwin to join our team. The ideal candidate is process-driven, with demonstrated initiative and strong attention to details. The candidate should also be flexible in their approach, have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize and handle the dynamic changes of the industry.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Fault finding and repair of marine diesel engine, gearboxes. Engine tuning and adjusting as well as rebuilding. Fault finding and repair of vessel systems. Hydraulic systems fault finding and repair. DC diagnostics and repair. Workshop duties as required including housekeeping. To be successfully considered for this role you must have:
Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter/ Mechanical Fitter (primary experience with engines, marine experience preferable). Ability to work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment. Good level of organisational, planning and time management skills. Current Drivers License. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen. Safety mindset. What Bhagwan Marine Offer;
