EXPERIENCED EXPLORATION DIAMOND DRILLERS REQUIREDSeismic Drilling Australia Pty Ltd is seeking highly skilled and experienced Diamond Drillers to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.As a Diamond Driller, you will play a crucial role in our exploration and geoscience operations, using specialized equipment and techniques to provide a safe & quality service to our clients.What you'll be doingOperate and maintain diamond drilling rigs and associated equipment to extract core samples from geological formations.Ensure accurate logging and documentation of drilling activities and core samples.Collaborate with geologists and other technical staff to optimize drilling processes and procedures.Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.Provide training and mentorship to less experienced drilling personnel.Maintain and troubleshoot drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.What we're looking forCommitment to safety and a track record of adhering to environmental regulations.Previous, proven experience as a Diamond Driller, preferably in the mining, resources, or energy industry.Proficient in the operation of diamond drilling rigs and associated auxiliary and survey equipment.Strong understanding of geological formations and the principles of core sampling and presentation.Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize drilling processes.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and provide mentorship to less experienced personnel.Valid HR manual driver's license and ability to work in remote locations as required.Cert III or Cert IV in Drilling Operations.Be able to pass a full medical, including drug & alcohol screening.Clean National Police Clearance.Right to work in Australia.About usSeismic Drilling Australia Pty Ltd is a leading provider of exploration and geoscience services to the mining, resources, and energy industries.We are known for our technical expertise, innovative solutions, and commitment to safety and sustainability.
