Technical Specialist 18-months contract with possible extension ACT, QLD, VIC, WA DFP Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Specialist to join our Federal Government Client team.
Role responsibilities Develop and implement ESM solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices, including integrating various enterprise systems and tools. Perform regular system updates, patches, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance, security, and accessibility for all users. Provide technical support and training to users, addressing any issues or concerns related to the ESM platform and facilitating user adoption through effective change management strategies. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ESM configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring data consistency and quality across multiple systems. Work with other IT teams to integrate the ESM platform with other enterprise systems and tools, ensuring scalability and adaptability as the organisation grows. Implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with various regulations to protect sensitive data. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance service delivery, continuously seeking ways to improve the system and streamline processes. Skills ITIL Foundation or higher ITIL level qualifications e.g., ITIL Managing Professional, ITIL Strategic Leader. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ESM or IT service management roles. Proficiency in ESM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, Jira Cloud, Cherwell, and other relevant products. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) and the ITIL framework. Advanced certifications in ESM tools, such as ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist, BMC Helix Administrator, or Jira Administrator.
