NSW Government experience in Goulburn ASAP Start - Initial contract until March 2025, with possibility of extension $45.60 per hour + Super 35 hours per week We are seeking a detail-oriented Service Officer to join the NSW Government team in Goulburn. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the effective management of workers' compensation payments in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Work collaboratively within a customer-focused team to manage workers' compensation payments for injured employees. Calculate weekly compensation entitlements and accurately update payroll systems. Ensure all payments are processed promptly and in compliance with legislative requirements. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to address queries and provide high-quality service. About you: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Team-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach. Payroll experience is beneficial—your customer focus and accuracy matter most. Additional Information: Working from home may be considered after the training period and in line with departmental guidelines, though the majority of the team is office-based.
