Our Client is a trusted provider of financial services, offering expertise in both Accounting and Financial Planning, with three offices located across Gippsland.
Our client is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Qualified Accountant to join their team at our Moe office.
In this role, you will be responsible for a range of tax compliance tasks, including the preparation of BAS, financial statements, income tax returns, and direct client interaction.
You will manage a diverse client base that includes individuals, as well as small to medium-sized businesses from various industries.

About You To succeed in this role, you will need:
A degree qualification in Accounting or a related field.
CPA or CA qualification (or in progress).
At least 2 years of public practice experience.
Strong knowledge of Australian taxation.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero.
Exceptional computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
A positive work ethic with a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities Manage client relationships and provide tailored accounting services.
Prepare tax returns, financial statements, and BAS.
Advise clients on tax-related matters and ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws.
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely completion of client work.
