The role will oversee highly complex or sensitive projects, ensuring strategic and operational outcomes for the agency.
Key Responsibilities: Provide technical and general accounting and finance advice by partnering with internal and external teams.
Develop and influence financial strategies, policies, priorities, and operational practices.
Prepare a variety of written materials, including briefs, reports, and discussion papers.
Contribute significantly to the Agency Financial Strategic Plan.
Manage complex and sensitive finance functions, projects, and work programs.
Proactively identify and resolve emerging issues and risks.
Offer high-level financial, technical, and policy expertise across core functions.
Provide strategic advice to management, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board.
Represent the Finance Business Partner (FBP) portfolio on sensitive issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Address contentious topics effectively with diverse audiences.
Maintain a sound understanding of core financial functions to deliver expert guidance and advice.
Key Skills Required: Strong financial acumen and expertise in accounting and finance.
Proven ability to develop and influence financial strategies, policies, and practices.
Skilled in preparing high-quality reports, briefs, and strategic documents.
Experience managing complex finance projects and resolving risks effectively.
