About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Claims Consultant to join our Melbourne-based call centre team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing insurance claims efficiently and empathetically over the phone, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with strong communication and customer service skills to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound calls to manage end-to-end claims processing in line with company policies and procedures. Assess and investigate claims to determine validity and appropriate outcomes. Communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries. Ensure timely and accurate documentation and data entry of claims information. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complex claims and deliver exceptional service. Identify and mitigate potential risks and fraudulent activities. Stay updated with industry regulations and company guidelines. About You: Previous experience in claims management or call centre roles within the insurance industry is highly desirable. Strong verbal communication and active listening skills. Excellent customer service abilities with a compassionate and professional approach. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume call centre environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management systems. A customer-first mindset with a focus on providing positive client experiences.
