Our client is currently seeking an APS4 and APS5 Executive Assistant to join their team within a Federal Government Agency based in the Darwin CBD.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Completing operational and/or administrative tasks of moderate complexity or difficulty. Diary and email management, responding to changing priorities and timeframes. Preparing replies to correspondence, briefing material and handling confidential papers. Scheduling meetings and preparing documentation for committees and projects. Undertaking research and investigations as requested. Coordinating official meetings, travel arrangements and official functions on behalf of the Branch, Regional and General Manager, and other Agency staff. Coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes for the division. Assisting in the development and administrative management of new systems, processes and practical tools including training. Assisting in maintaining risk management programs. Maintaining a well-developed understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks. Identifying and contributing to the resolution of issues and problems as they arise. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven work experience in a similar role. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a varied fast-paced environment. Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high work standards and accuracy. Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders. An understanding of or lived experience in the field of disability is highly desirable.
