The Opportunity DFK Everalls is seeking a dynamic and skilled Accountant with 2-5 years of experience in Public Practice/Business Services to join our team. We are committed to delivering outstanding financial services, tax solutions, and proactive business advisory services to our diverse client base. As an Accountant at DFK Everalls, you'll collaborate closely with our Managers and Directors, actively engage in client interactions, and have the opportunity to enhance your skills and career.
Position Overview In your role at DFK Everalls, your primary responsibility will be to prepare high-quality client work that is ready for review by Client Relationship Managers and Directors. This work will encompass a wide range of financial services, tax returns, and advisory tasks. You will have direct client engagement under the guidance of the Client Relationship Managers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. As you progress, you will have the opportunity to handle more complex challenges and technical issues, facilitating your growth into more senior positions within the organisation.

A Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) with a major in accounting. Ongoing or completed CA or CPA program. Exceptional writing and grammar skills. Strong communication abilities to foster relationships with our team and clients. Key Responsibilities As an Accountant at DFK Everalls, your duties will include:
Preparing compliance reports and advice notes for clients. Preparing personal tax returns and financial statements for businesses, super funds, and related tax returns, demonstrating a strong grasp of various taxation issues. Assisting senior team members in providing Business Advisory services, including valuations, cash flow forecasts, and tax planning. Developing relationships with and learning from Managers and Directors. Engaging with clients by attending appointments and addressing their queries and information needs. Being an advanced user of cloud accounting packages, including Xero and MYOB.
