The Opportunity The primary purpose of the Accounts Receivable Officer is to ensure the effective and efficient management of all accounts receivable transactions in the Dexus systems. You will manage end-to-end receipting activities with accuracy and timeliness, fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate receipt of income. Manage customer accounts and relationships, including arrears. Perform bank account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. Support other key processes within the Accounts Receivable team. About You The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-office finance shared services functions, with experience in property or financial services environments being advantageous. Proficiency with large ERP systems or Yardi is preferred, along with exposure to managing trust accounts.
They will be proactive, able to prioritise tasks, and possess exceptional customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and a self-motivated, organized, and team-oriented approach are essential. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications: Tertiary degree in accounting/finance or business-related studies. Minimum of 3+ years' experience in an accounts receivable or finance role.
