We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing engineering tool requirements as directed by the E&T Tools Leads, deploying and maintaining the 1LMX tool suite, and enhancing our CI/CD processes. You will design, develop, and automate various internal processes, guiding the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure smooth promotion and deployment of code.
Key Responsibilities: Tool Implementation: Implement engineering tool requirements as specified by E&T Tools Leads. Deployment & Maintenance: Deploy, maintain, and support the 1LMX tool suite to ensure seamless operation. CI/CD Process Development: Design, develop, and improve CI/CD processes to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability. Process Automation: Automate various internal processes to streamline workflows and improve productivity. SDLC Guidance: Guide the SDLC, focusing on code promotion and deployment best practices. Infrastructure Building: Contribute to the development of CI/CD and DevSecOps infrastructure to support automated testing and deployment across multiple projects. Build Automation: Automate software builds, conduct build checkout testing, and support informal system integration activities. Status Maintenance: Contribute to the automation and maintenance of software build status for operational and test releases. Infrastructure Monitoring: Monitor and maintain the health of supporting DevSecOps infrastructure, including container orchestration, build agents, monitoring tools, and dashboards. Tool Administration: Administer and maintain DevSecOps tools to ensure optimal performance. Best Practices Implementation: Assist in implementing defined best practices for source control, continuous integration, and release management. Collaboration: Work closely with developers to identify, debug, and resolve build or deployment issues. About You: Experience with Version Control: Proficient in version/artifact control tools, preferably GitLab and Nexus. CI/CD Tools Knowledge: Solid understanding and experience with build and continuous integration tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab. Issue Tracking Familiarity: Experience with issue tracking and review tools, such as Jira. Infrastructure-as-Code: Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and Packer. Scripting and Automation: Strong skills in automation tools and scripting. Linux Proficiency: Familiarity with the Linux operating system and its environments.
