Devops Technical Lead

Are you an ambitious Senior DevOps Engineer with Ansible and Terraform/IaaC experience?

THE EMPLOYER Our client is a global systems integrator and provider of IT solutions to the Australian Commonwealth and Enterprise clients, currently engaged in delivering a large-scale program for Defence.
THE ROLE In this fast-paced and rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing DevOps engineering services for the program, including guidance and oversight of the DevOps engineering team (6 personnel).
Activities involve installation and configuration of vendor applications on a Cloud Platform within a Defence tenancy; providing advice on Terraform and Ansible to automate deployment; contributing to Platform & Program security design documents; supporting the team SCRUM Master and driving the team to excellence in maintaining the DevOps Board.
REQUIREMENTS Minimum NV1 Australian Defence Security Clearance (ESSENTIAL)Proven leadership and personnel management skillsAt least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineer roleDemonstrable experience deploying Ansible and Terraform/IaaCSelf-starter with a strong work ethicAbility to work on-siteThis is a fantastic opportunity to kick your career into high gear and position yourself for further advancement and involvement in high-profile Defence engagements.
