You will lead the development and the pragmatic implementation of strategies that will support our project delivery functions in the engagement of community-, government-, stakeholders and land holders.Here's how:You will proactively mitigate significant project delivery risks by influencing and shaping State and Commonwealth policy, legislative reform, procedures, strategies, and frameworks.You will create strategic connections and frameworks that will enhance our project delivery through development of complex and robust strategies, project delivery systems, procedures and policies.This role will focus on continuous improvement at all levels of project delivery across the organisation to ensure world class outcomes are realised across Powerlink's portfolio of project delivery.The people you'll joinBased in our corporate Major Projects Delivery office in Bowen Hills you will report to the Project Delivery Director and will join a high performing Project Development team in our Major Projects division. This team proactively engages with developers, land holders, government and other key community stakeholders to ensure we can continue to safely and reliably operate and maintain our network. You will help provide strategic advice and project delivery solutions as you grow your skills every day. And you'll do it with a Project Development team who you're proud to work with.What you'll bringYou have been a strategic partner to complex, specialised project delivery teams providing strategic advice and guidance relating to the optimisation of project planning and delivery.As a proven collaborator you are able to drive a combined purpose and effort across multiple specialised functions and with external partners to ensure alignment of business and project-specific objectives.You have demonstrated success in influencing and effectively engaging with Senior Leaders, external stakeholders, government departments, regulators and organisations to develop, support and implement project planning and delivery strategies.Degree level qualification in Management, Business, Property, Legal or a related disciplineExtensive relevant experience in strategy development, project planning and prioritisation for the planning and delivery of linear infrastructureFind your possibility todayTo kick start your career at Powerlink, apply by clicking the button above, attaching your resume and cover letter on our careers page before midnight on Sunday, 3 November, 2024.
