This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.Snowy Hydro offers structured development programs to business trainees, trades apprentices, graduates and undergraduates in the Snowy Mountains. A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Development Programs Coordinator to support the implementation and continuous improvement of high quality Development Programs at Snowy Hydro.Reporting to the Development Programs Consultant, our ideal candidate will have exceptional planning and organisation skills and a high level of attention to detail. You will play a key role in supporting talent acquisition, onboarding, skill development and performance across the employee lifecycle, optimising the experience for participants across all development programs. This position also coordinates mandatory training and professional development as required for each program.You will be a natural at building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Program and Steering Committees members, Business Partners, senior leaders and partnerships to achieve impactful organisation-wide learning outcomes.This is a permanent full-time opportunity that can be based at either our Khancoban or Cooma offices.In this role, you will:Coordinate development programs training and development, including mandatory training, structured professional development and events.Administer training contracts, TAFE registration, government incentive requirements and any other legislative requirements for training contracts.Report regularly to the Development Programs Consultant and Apprentice Program Consultant on training completion, TAFE contact, program data and other relevant issues.Manage attendance at external careers fairs and open days, including school-based, trades and university-oriented events.Manage the annual Business Traineeship Program, under the guidance of the Development Programs Consultant. This includes school visits, annual recruitment, allocation, onboarding, training and professional development.What we're looking for:A minimum 3-5 years in a coordination, administration or learning-related role.Working knowledge of training contracts and TAFE processes.Strong communications skills.Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and build credibility and trust.Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision and demonstrated problem-solving skills.This is an exceptional chance to drive program success by supporting the growth and development of Snowy Hydro's expanding workforce.
