Development Engineer

Aspect Personnel are working with a Council in Melbourne's South Eastern Suburbs to recruit an experienced Development Engineer for a 3 month contract role.Responsibilities:Assessing development and subdivision applications (drainage & traffic)Assessing legal points of discharge & building over easementsConducting drainage investigations and providing recommendationsProviding advice to residentsLiaising with developers and key stakeholdersIdeal Candidate:A degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience/qualificationsA Civil Engineer, ideally with experience in Victorian Local GovernmentDemonstrated experience in approving development plansPrevious experience assessing legal points of discharge, vehicle crossings and building over easementsA solid understanding of local government policies, procedures and legislationA valid Victorian Drivers LicenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIf you would like to discuss this role in more detail or other Civil Engineering opportunities within Local Government, please contact Michael Parker on 0431 593 048 or send an email to ******, you can apply by using the link below.
