Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Project Director to take responsibility for a major urban redevelopment aimed at enhancing the quality of housing in a high profile inner urban location. The Project Director will be responsible for the project life-cycle, from finalising strategic objectives to overseeing the delivery of innovative living solutions. This role requires a strategic leader who can collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders and drive the project towards successful completion while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities: Take ownership of a major redevelopment project from initial planning to final execution.Engage with the community and manage relations with stakeholders to support project objectives.Lead the planning and approval processes, securing necessary outcomes by identifying and mitigating potential risks.Oversee financial management, including budgets and cash flows, and the engagement of consultants and contractors.Monitor project progress, review contractor claims, and prepare reports for project committees.Manage the project handover at completion, ensuring all specifications are met.Work closely with senior leadership and the broader development team to deliver a consistent outcome in line with company objectives.Requirements: Extensive experience in managing large-scale urban renewal projects, particularly within inner urban areas.Demonstrated capability in community consultation and managing complex stakeholder groups.Strong background in urban planning and development approvals in Sydney.Experience in financial modelling and analysis, with a thorough understanding of feasibility studies.Proven leadership skills, with experience managing internal teams and fostering a collaborative work environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
