Development Coach - Economic Pathways to Refugee IntegrationApply now Job no: 497562 Work type: Maximum Term Part-Time Location: Broadmeadows Categories: Employment Services BENEFITSImprove your take-home pay by using salary packaging options – up to $18,500 can be packaged every year (details via AccessPay)!Employee Assistance ProgramDiscounted health insurance and free flu shots each yearWe're looking for a professional Development Coach with relevant experience who wants to join our team of 1500 employees and 1000 volunteers to make a difference on a Part Time, Max Term Contract basis ending June 30, 2025, working 30.8 hours per week based in Broadmeadows.THE ROLEThe Development Coach supports the EPRI Senior Support Officer (SSO) in the delivery of the Economic Pathways to Refugee Integration (EPRI) Program including participant engagement, recruitment, prevocational and employability skills training, and on-the-job support.This role also supports the program by aiding English language development and acquisition in new workplace contexts, including clarification of rights and responsibilities in the employee/employer relationship and agreement, and both prevocational and on-the-job coaching to ensure candidate understanding of those responsibilities as they relate to workplace OHS systems and requirements.Support the SSO with the implementation of an engagement plan for accessing this group in the community and facilitate referrals into the EPRI program.Deliver pre-employment training including formal, technical and industry-specific language development related to anticipated job pathways, occupational health and safety systems requirements and shared responsibilities, income, payslips, timesheets, tax and superannuation so participants can read and understand their remuneration details, employment law and context including employee agreements, entitlements, and awards.Work in close collaboration with staff within the Broadmeadows Thrive Hub and across Youth and Adult Transition program areas to collectively achieve outcomes for all participants.Salary will be in the range of $85,264.31 to $89,124.91 per annum (pro rata per annum), based on skills and experience plus superannuation.ABOUT THE BROTHERHOOD OF ST LAURENCEWe are passionate about the work we do.
