Responsibilities :Design and implement efficient, intuitive, modular, testable software applications using languages such as C#, JavaScript, SQL, amongst others.Participate in daily stand ups, retros, and sprint planning sessions.Ensure development work conforms to standards, including design and coding quality, to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of software.Meet timelines and delivery commitments, escalating issues early.Own development work from design through to deployment.Contribute and adhere to team objectives including coding practices, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes.Participate in design and estimation sessions.Maintain and support company websites and back-office systems.Requirements:Recent experience of developing Enterprise .Net applications within an Agile environmentTest driven / behaviour driven (TDD/BDD) .Net software development with C#Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methods and toolsetsWorking with enterprise SQL databases (preferably SQL Server)Evangelist of modern .Net programming and development practicesFamiliarity with web-based SaaSComfortable with absorbing new technologies quickly; highly self-directed and able to manage and prioritize concurrent and competing/conflicting challengesInnovator: ability to work collaboratively and a demonstrated team player with a results-oriented track recordFollow recommended software development methodology standards, championing evolution as appropriatePro-active customer service attitudeA technical mindset with good understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns.Solid knowledge of Agile development practices.A willingness and an ability to share best practice and improve processes.Experienced in issues of Scaling and an understanding of optimising web-based applications.Experience working across multiple platforms and technologiesStrong demonstrable experience of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design and accompanying design patterns with a commitment to Software Craftsmanship and Clean Code.Ability to work with Distributed Version Control SystemsPerformance tuningExperience of web interfaces and working with databases.Scaling and optimising web-based applicationsDesigning high availability systemsKnowledge of Agile development practices and experience working in a cross-functional Scrum teamAbility to work collaboratively and a demonstrated team playerA willingness and an ability to share best practice and improve processesAdvantageous:Experience with NoSQL databases such MySQL / DynamoDB.Experience or understanding of enterprise systems deployed as micro-services through code pipelines utilizing containerization (Docker)Experience of working with SaaS based software architectures within a multi-tenanted cloud hosted deployment modelExperience with systems and IT operations operating within an ISO27001 environment
